Mokoro Day Trips

NUMBER OF PAX MINIMUM 1 AND MAXIMUM 8

We offer the best Mokoro experience. Guests are collected at 06:00am for the 2 hour drive from Maun to the mokoro station where we will be met by professional polers who take our guests for best experience.

Arrival time at the station is 0800 hrs where the guests will embark on a 2 hour Mokoro trip learning about the delta, seeing different species of birds. This trip is combined with an hour adventure walk in the wilderness where we will see different species of wildlife like giraffes, Elephant, Buffalo etc.

When guests return there will be a picnic lunch set up for them in a nice shaded area with a view of Okavango river. We will share our knowledge of the delta and share bush stories

At approximately 15:30 guests will start heading back to the mokoro station and arrive back in Maun arround 18:00 hours

2 guests $600 - whole day trip

These rates include park fees, payment for number of polers, food, drinks, afternoon snack, Mokoro experience and Walking experience.

DAY TRIP TO KWAI

Because of the distance to Khwai we leave Maun at 05:00 hrs.

We will arrive in time allowing for the option to explore the Mababe area towards the depression. This area is very beautiful with abundant birds and wildlife.

It is a three hour drive to Mababe Depression and a four hour drive to Khwai area.

When entering the park we will stop and take a break, have our breakfast in a nice open area after a long drive from Maun.

Mababe depression is well known for its abundant species of birds and Khwai is well known for its predators.

The package includes Park fees, 2 activities, breakfast, lunch, drinks, water and an afternoon snack.Back to Maun around 19:00 hrs.

BOOKING PROCEDURE

All bookings for Dikgotsho Mobile Safaris should be made in writing by e-mail

Telephone bookings should be followed up immediately with a written confirmation.

All bookings are held on a provisional basis until the required deposit has been received.

A non-refundable deposit should be paid within 14 days of making the reservation.

PAYMENT.

We do not have credit card facilities, so we rely on bank transfers into our account.

DEPOSIT.

25% non-refundable deposit required immediately

Balance of payments should be received by us not later than 3 months prior to arrival date.
