A Little About Botswana
Botswana is home to the Okavango Delta and the Central Kalahari Game Reserve. The Okavango is a World Heritage Site and the CKGR is the single largest game reserve in the world.
Summer season begins in November and ends in March. It usually brings very high temperatures. However, summer is also usually the rainy season, cloud coverage and rain can cool things down considerably, but usually for a short periods of time.
The winter season begins in May and ends in August. This is also the dry season when there is virtually no rain. Winter days are invariably sunny and cool to warm, however, evening and night temperatures can drop below freezing point in some areas, especially in the southwest.
